Four Seasons Named a National 2022 Hospice Honors Recipient

Hendersonville, NC— Four Seasons has been named a 2022 Hospice Honors

recipient by HONORS_Certificate 56_4SEASONSHEALTHCAREfirst, a leading provider of billing and coding services, CAHPS surveys, and advanced analytics. Hospice Honors is a prestigious, national program that recognizes hospices providing the highest level of quality as measured from the caregiver’s point of view. “Hospice Honors recipients are industry leaders in providing quality care and constantly seeking ways to improve,” said Ronda Howard, Vice President of Revenue Cycle and CAHPS at HEALTHCAREfirst. “We are honored to be aligned with such high-performing agencies like Four Seasons and we congratulate them on their success.”

Award criteria were based on Hospice CAHPS survey results for an evaluation period of October 2020 through September 2021. Award recipients were identified by evaluating performance on a set of 24 quality indicator measures. Performance scores were aggregated from all completed surveys and were compared on a question-by-question basis to a National Performance Score calculated from all hospices contained in the HEALTHCAREfirst’s Hospice CAHPS database. Hospice Honors recipients include those hospices scoring above the HEALTHCAREfirst National Performance Score on 20 of the evaluated questions.

Four Seasons Chief Clinical Officer, Rikki Hooper, FNP explains “Our staff embraces the opportunity to provide consistently excellent care to our patients and families throughout their journey with Four Seasons, and are truly grateful that members of our community trust us to do that. Being awarded the Hospice Honors designation from HEALTHCAREfirst is a wonderful way to recognize the hard work and dedication of our staff as they remain committed to continue this important work in the realm of serious illness care and serve our communities across Western North Carolina.”

Four Seasons President and CEO, Dr. Millicent Burke-Sinclair, continues “Four Seasons is incredibly grateful to provide high-quality care for our community. For over 42 years we have remained committed to providing the very best care wherever one calls home. This compassionate and reliable care is for both our patients and their loved ones because we realize that trusted care is absolutely imperative during challenging seasons. We are grateful to be recognized through HEALTHCAREfirst as a Hospice Honors recipient and remain dedicated to advancing access to quality care for all, regardless of their ability to pay throughout all of the counties we serve.”
